When to Visit the Emergency Department

When to Visit the Emergency Department

Our emergency and trauma centre operates around the clock with rapid triage, resuscitation capability, and direct access to ICU, imaging, and surgical teams.

Call ambulance or come immediately for chest pain or pressure, stroke symptoms (face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty), severe shortness of breath, major bleeding, head injury with confusion, seizures, or poisoning.

Do not delay if a child has persistent high fever with lethargy, dehydration, or breathing distress. Paediatric emergency support is available on campus.

For non-urgent concerns — mild fever, minor cuts, or chronic issues without acute change — consider outpatient consultation or tele-advice to keep emergency resources available for critical cases.

Save our EPABX and ambulance numbers in your phone. In an emergency, clearly state location, patient age, and primary symptoms when you call.
